Visual parallels are made between Hilde’s school environment and the prison. Both uninviting atmospheres which take a great deal of courage for her to stand her ground in. We will be showing prison uniform in a very real way, instead of the stereotype often depicted on camera. Uniform issued sweats and scrubs blend to create character on an individual level, yet en masse create a neutral chaos very reminiscent of the school. Orange jumpsuits will be used for Prisoners in transit only. Corrections Officers will be in stark uniform navy- a break in our visual language.
